Installing Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007 Service Pack 2

1. From the product DVD, if the startup screen does not run automatically, double-click splash.hta.
2. On the Start page, click Configuration Manager 2007 SP2.
3. On the Welcome page, click Next.
4. On the Available Setup Options page, click Install a Configuration Manager site server and then click Next.
5. On the Microsoft Software License Terms page, accept the license agreement then click Next to proceed.
6. On the Installation Settings page, click Custom settings then click Next to proceed.
7. On the Site Type page, click Primary site and then click Next to proceed.
8. On the Customer Experience Improvement Program Configuration page, click No, I do not want to participate right now, and then click Next to proceed.
9. On the Product Key page, click Next to proceed.
10. On the Destination Folder page, change the Install Configuration Manager 2007 SP1 path to E:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Configuration Manager\ then click Next to proceed.
11. On the Site Settings page, enter the Site code and the Site name for the installation, then click Next to proceed.
12. On the Site Mode page, click Configuration Manager Mixed Mode and then click Next to proceed.
13. On the Client Agent Selection page, accept the defaults and then click Next to proceed.
14. On the Database Server page, accept the defaults and then click Next to proceed.
15. On the SMS Provider Settings page, accept the defaults and then click Next to proceed.
16. On the Management point page, click Install a management point and then click Next to proceed.
17. On the Port Settings page, click Use default port (80) and then click Next to proceed.
18. On the Updated Prerequisite Components page, click The latest updates have already been downloaded to an alternate path, and then click Next to proceed.
19. On the Updated Prerequisite Component Path page, browse to the location where the downloaded prerequisites are located, then click Next to proceed.
20. On the Settings Summary page, click Next to proceed.
21. On the Installation Prerequisite Check page, ensure that all the it passed the prerequisite check, if not, install the prerequisites first. Once all the prerequisites has been installed, then click Begin Install to begin the installation.
22. When the installation is completed, click Next on the Setup Action Status Monitoring page.
23. Click Finish to complete the wizard.
