Windows Server 2012 + SQL Server 2012 SP1 + SCCM 2012 SP1 + SUP + Wsus 4.0 ( Fail to Install SUP on SCCM 2012 SP1)

Please follow  the  step by step and don’t skip any step if not you wil fail to configure the SUP on SCCM 2012 SP1 once fail you might need to rebuild everything all over again.

This is after you install Windows server 2012 + SQL Server 2012 SP1 + SCCM 2012 SP1

(without install WSUS 4.0)

Step 1) After all install , you can proceed to install Wsus 4.0  ( is included in Server 2012)

Choose WID Database and WSUS Services and point the path to locally example :- D:\WSUS

Step 2) Restart the Server.

Step 3)  

Launch Post-Installation tasks.

Step 4) Make sure the Post deployment Configuration is completed.

 

Step 5) Launch the windows Server Update Services and choose all default until the Choose Products , Press cancel button  and do not continue.

Step 6) Go to SCCM 2012 SP1 and Add the Software Update Point and Remember to configure  Port  as 8530 SSL Port Number 8531.

Step 7)

Check the Log file wsyncmgr.log and WCM.log

 

Step 8) Finally your Software Update Point in SCCM 2012 SP1 is Working fine !
